A Brand New Course for the upcoming Movistar Medio Maratón de Madrid and ProFuturo charity race
The Movistar Medio Maratón de Madrid and the Carrera ProFuturo 5k charity race unveil a brand new course set in the unique scenery of the city centre of Madrid. This improved course is flatter than the previous one, and also will take athletes through the most beautiful streets and monuments in Madrid, such as Santiago Bernabeu stadium, Plaza de Castilla, calle Serrano, the Puerta de Alcala, Atocha, el Paseo del Prado, Neptuno, and Cibeles. The new start is located at the Paseo de La Castellana and the finish line is at Paseo de Recoletos.
It’s a better course, less hilly, more attractive and faster. Movistar Medio Maratón de Madrid has been awarded with the World Athletic “Road Race” Label and is the most important half marathon in Madrid with almost 18,000 participants amongst the 21 and 5k race (Carrera ProFuturo) which also has changed its course.
